Breaking News : Is Logic Release The Last Album Of His Carrier ? Deet Inside

Logic has hit fans with some bittersweet news. On Thursday night, the Maryland-bred rapper announced the release date for his much-anticipated sixth studio album, No Pressure. And the disappointing news? The project will serve as his swan song.

"Officially announcing my retirement with the release of 'No Pressure' executive produced by No I.D.," he tweeted, before confirming the album's July 24 drop date. "... It’s been a great decade. Now it’s time to be a great father."

No Pressure, the sequel to his 2014 debut Under Pressure, will arrive more than a year after Logic released the chart-topping project Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. The rapper teased No Pressure in a Reddit post earlier this year, telling fans the album would find him returning to his classic sound.

"I love you all and am excited for No Pressure. Bars on bars on bars," he wrote. "This new perspective of life has been amazing. Mainly spending time with family and little Bobby and just cooking up ... but i wanted to let you know how much i appreciate you all. It's just so fun experimenting and having fun with all music. But this next one is back to the roots for sure and I can't wait for you to hear it when the time is right. Little Bobby boy is so cute and the most adorable little man in da worlds! Lol seriously tho, keep supporting and know I'm always here to be that voice."

Executive produced by the legendary No I.D., No Pressure is set to be Logic's sixth studio album.

The Maryland rapper's debut album Under Pressure was only released six years ago in 2014. Since then, Logic gained attention for his socially conscious songs, most notably for the Grammy-nominated "1-800-273-8255" featuring Alessia Cara and Khalid.

The rapper has been threatening to retire since the 2017 release of his album Everybody, telling Genius, "I just want to end everything with a really big bang and get the f— out of here. Better to go out on top like Jerry Seinfeld, nine seasons, No. 1 f—ing show in the world, over a billion dollars. I’d rather do that."

While his tweet is the first he's talked of retiring after No Pressure, he has remarked that the album is a sequel to his first album Under Pressure.

Over the years, Logic has branched out, entering into a joint venture with Def Jam and Universal Music Group to create Bobby Boy Records, as well as writing his 2019 novel Supermarket.

No Pressure will be released on July 24.A recent tweet from Logic reads, “Officially announcing my retirement with the release of No Pressure executive produced by No I.D. It’s been a great decade. Now it’s time to be a great father.” Coming full-circle, the album will serve as a sequel to his 2014 debut Under Pressure. The new LP will be focused on delivering his “classic sound,” according to a reddit post by the rapper from earlier this year.

Additionally, the rapper put out some bittersweet statements for his fans: “I love you all and am excited for No Pressure. Bars on bars on bars. This new perspective of life has been amazing. Mainly spending time with family and little Bobby and just cooking up… But I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate you all. It’s just so fun experimenting and having fun with all music. But this next one is back to the roots for sure and I can’t wait for you to hear it when the time is right. Little Bobby boy is so cute and the most adorable little man in da worlds! Lol seriously tho, keep supporting and know I’m always here to be that voice.”
