Following rumors of a project dropping soon, Juice WRLD‘s estate has announced his first posthumous album, Legends Never Die, releasing this week on July 10. Complementing the news of the LP is a new song from the compilation, “Life’s A Mess” featuring Halsey.
Legends Never Die consists of 15 tracks that best represent the material Juice WRLD was working on prior to his passing, including collaborations from those who strongly impacted his music.
“Juice dedicated his music to his fans and, now more than ever, we hope this album brings some reprieve to everyone during these unsettling times,” reads a statement on Juice WRLD’s Instagram.
Juice died last December at the age of 21 from an accidental overdose. He released two solo albums before his death, 2018’s Goodbye & Good Riddance and 2019’s Death Race for Love. It has been said that he recorded roughly 2,000 unreleased tracks during his career.

Juice WRLD’s upcoming posthumous album was originally rumored to be named Outsiders based on a freestyle he did within an Instagram live, but was later confirmed to be Legends Never Die four days before the release.
Additionally, during an Instagram live stream six months after his death, Juice’s girlfriend, Ally Lotti, hinted at the original album title, but seemingly delayed its release:
Remember we were talking about Outsiders… That actual album, no one is ready for it. I’m not ready for it. And I promise you, you are not ready for it.
The first promotional single for the album was titled “Righteous“ and released in late April 2020. The following month, the label followed with the release of “Tell Me U Luv Me,“ another single with frequent collaborator Trippie Redd.
Multiple demos of the album surfaced on the internet in early 2020 and consisted of up to 30 of his tracks, such as “Righteous,“ “Bad Boy,“ and “Tell Me U Luv Me.“ However, none of these tracks have been confirmed to be on the album.
In the first few weeks of June, Juice’s label teased snippets for multiple tracks such as “Cake,“ “Molly & Mike,“ and “Don’t Understand,“ hinting at their possible releases within the album. However, the only seemingly confirmed track is the highly anticipated “On the Run (Blood on My Jeans),“ which was confirmed by Juice’s label manager Lil Bibby when he responded to a fan on Instagram.
On July 6th, 2020, Juice’s label took to Juice’s Twitter to officially confirm the release date of the album to be July 10th, and officially confirmed the album title to be Legends Never Die with a small teaser video:
Juice WRLD and Halsey have been creating a lot of buzz amongst the people ever since the song release on July 6, 2020. People can be seen remembering Juice WRLD for the amazing track, its tuning and rhythm, that he had created in collaboration with Halsey. A wide range of people also paid their tributes to the artist who passed way in December 2019 due to a seizure.
