Lana Del Rey is gearing up for the release of her Chemtrails Over the Country Club album this fall, and in the meantime, the star took to Instagram on Friday (Aug. 7) to tease one of the project's tracks.

In the clip, Del Rey is seen chatting in a dimly lit studio with artist Charlie Grant and longtime musical collaborator Jack Antonoff. The chanteuse, rocking diamond-encrusted drop earrings, tells Antonoff, "Let's keep going before we get it," and proceeds to play a snippet of her new song, a characteristically ethereal melody called "Tulsa Jesus Freak."

Chemtrails Over the Country Club (originally titled White Hot Forever) is the upcoming seventh studio album and sixth major-label studio album by Lana Del Rey. The album is set to be released on September 5, 2020.

Del Rey first revealed that she had been working on a new record on August 30, 2019, the release date of Norman Fucking Rockwell!, in an interview with Al Horner for The Times. In the interview, she announced that the title of the project would be White Hot Forever and explained that parts of the album had already been written. Del Rey estimated that the record would most likely be released within 12 to 13 months of the interview, in 2020, as a surprise release.[1] Del Rey also revealed that the record will sound similar to her previous album, Norman Fucking Rockwell!.

On November 6, 2019, a fan on Reddit said Del Rey told her that White Hot Forever might not be the album name. Their claims have been proven true as on Instagram[2], where Del Rey revealed that her new album title would be Chemtrails Over the Country Club.

On July 25, 2020 an ATRL insider confirmed that the album is finished and in the process of mastering. The track "Let Me Love You like a Woman" was confirmed to be on the tracklist, though Del Rey herself has not officially confirmed that the track willl appear on the album.

On August 6, 2020 Del Rey posted a snippet of the track "Tulsa Jesus Freak" to her Instagram. Later, she archived the post.

On August 25, 2020 Del Rey's hairstylist insinuated at something being released or announced on August 28 or 29, 2020 in his recent Instagram post. He also used potential song lyrics or a quote from a new poem in the caption.[3]
